Lanette the DirectorHi, my name is Lanette and I'm the director of the Center.  I started at the Center about 10 years ago as a volunteer and I've been the director for the last 8 years.  My life revolves around my husband and three children, around my faith in God and clearly around my passion to help girls facing an unplanned pregnancy.  Before coming to the Center, I probably never thought that this work would become so important to me.  I also enjoy listening to music, playing on my Blackberry, and selling Mary Kay.

Hi, my name is Elaine and I am the assistant director at the Center.

Hi, my name is Jennifer and I am the new nurse manager at the Center.  I help coordinate any medically oriented services we provide for clients.

DorisHi, my name is Doris and I coordinate the donations at the Center.  Most of the supplies we give to clients are donated to the center by individuals, churches, and organizations.  I am the person responsible for collecting all the donations, sorting them and making them ready to give out.  I love working at the Center, but I also love spending time with my husband, children, grandchildren, and now 2 great grandchildren.  I also love spending time at the beach and I enjoy Judge Judy and Jeopardy when I catch them on TV.

 

We also have many volunteers that greet new clients, help give pregnancy tests, rock babies for the Promise support group, organize baby supplies, cook meals for support groups, as well as many other needed duties.  The Center could not manage without the generous support of its many volunteers.

How to Help

Call Lanette at the Center for information on how to become a volunteer or to get information on how your church or organization can support the Center through our annual diaper drive.  Lanette would also be the person to talk to about making a one time or ongoing financial donation to the Center.  If you would like to donate clothing or baby supplies please contact Doris at the Center.  Donating Maternity and Baby clothes, formula, baby toys and supplies would be a great family, Sunday School class, business or organization project.  The Center number is (423) 587-CARE.  Please call between the hours of 12:30 and 4:30 p.m. daily Monday thru Friday or if calling outside of these hours leave a detailed message so we can return your call.  If you would prefer, you can always send us an email to wecare@morristownpcc.org.
